The Ethics Commission of the Boyler County Fiscal Court updated the guidelines in Ordinance 280.5 to outline the ethical behavior of elected officials, employees, and volunteers of Boyle County. Below is a link to Ordinance 280.5 the commission established, the Boyle County Fiscal Court accepted, and then recorded to record on February 11, 2025 by the County Clerk.

Who needs to fill out a SOFI??
New hire/new appointee
You are a newly appointed or elected officer or employee and DID NOT serve as an officer or employee immediately prior to this position. You must file this form within 30 days of your start date.
Annual filing
You served in an officer or appointee position or as an employee during the previous calendar year. You must file this form between January 1 and January 31 for each year for the previous calendar year including each officer or employment position you held during that year. (i.e. 2025 form is due by January 31, 2026)
Annual filing - Note
If you left office or an appointed position or employment position for which you were required to file a Statement of Financial Interests during the past year, you are required to file a Statement of Financial Interests with information as it applies for that portion of the last calendar year you occupied the position from January 1 up until the date you left the position.
